Clark, in a joint venture with Guido Construction, is constructing a 24,000-square-foot artifact facility, featuring exhibit space, storage rooms, and maintenance workshops as part of the second phase of the Alamo's revitalization plan.

The scope of work also includes the preservation of a historic portion of the wall on the perimeter of the Alamo grounds. Prior to constructing the artifact facility, the project team will survey and document each individual piece of the wall and then move it to a storage location.

Once the artifact facility is complete, the project team will replace the historic wall in its original position.

Once the project is complete, acclaimed musician Phil Collins will donate his collection of Alamo artifacts to be displayed in the new facility.

Clark Guido is constructing the first phase, the Alamo Plaza Street Improvements project, under a separate contract.
