Shirley will reconstruct and widen Belmont Ridge Road from Hay Road (Route 642) to Gloucester Parkway (Route 2150) in Leesburg, VA. The existing two-lane section will be widened to a four-lane, median divided roadway. The team also will construct a grade separated crossing for the Washington and Old Dominion Trail, which will include shared use paths on both sides of Belmont Ridge Road. The project scope includes all aspects of engineering, design, right-of-way acquisition, utility relocation, construction, quality assurance, and quality control.
 
The project is adjacent to the Route 659 and Route 7 Interchange, which was awarded to Shirley in May.
 
Substantial completion is slated for December 2018.
