Clark renovated, repositioned, and provided tenant improvements on an existing 12-story office building in Arlington, Virginia.

The 260,000-square-foot building features 14 floors of office, amenity, and support areas, including a second-floor lobby, quiet rooms, kitchenettes, a communications center, a mother’s suite, and a grab-and-go market.

During construction, the project team demolished and abated the building’s existing precast and punched window façade while maintaining the integrity of the superstructure. The new building façade consists of curtain wall and metal panels.

Clark cut back the structure to construct terraces on the northeast and southeast corners of the building to create outdoor space on the upper floors. The Clark team also replaced MEP systems throughout the building and installed new finishes, including a two-story lobby, new garage jump elevators, and a bike room.

The scope of work also included site updates, updated retail spaces, and amenity spaces on the ground floor.

The project is designed to achieve LEED® Silver certification.
