Kaiser Permanente's New Carrollton Administrative Building

New Carrollton, Maryland - Clark Construction, Urban Atlantic, Kaiser Permanente, WMATA, and representatives from Prince George’s County gathered on April 4th to celebrate the completion of Kaiser Permanente of the Mid-Atlantic States' new 216,000-square-foot administrative building in Prince George’s County, Maryland.

A joint development between Urban Atlantic and WMATA, the eight-story building will house 850 administrative employees including members of Kaiser Permanente’s information technology department, an integral part of the organization’s growth in the region.

In addition to office space, the new administrative building features a fitness center, ground-level retail space, and a loading dock. As part of Clark’s scope of work, the project team also constructed a 273,000-square-foot, seven-story parking garage and renovated the neighboring WMATA Bus Access Road at the New Carrollton Metro Station.

The project is designed to achieve LEED® Silver certification.
