Ken Carlson

Ken Carlson leads Clark Construction Group’s Preconstruction Department in the Mid-Atlantic Region. 

Ken is responsible for leading preconstruction efforts on projects from concept design through design completion. Throughout the design process, he works alongside clients and design teams to deliver successful projects under budget while maximizing the desired scope. Ken has worked on many notable projects in the Mid-Atlantic Region, including the U.S. Institute of Peace Headquarters, A. James Clark Hall at the University of Maryland, National Law Enforcement Museum, and the George Washington University District House Residence Hall. 

Ken earned his bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Union College. He is a professional engineer as well as a LEED Accredited Professional.
