Located in downtown Detroit, the 27-story Patrick V. McNamara Federal Building opened in 1976 and is home primarily to government agencies. Clark is completing a 200,000 square-foot build out of eight floors, including a new, dedicated entry for the tenant. Renovated conferences spaces, mail facilities, and a fitness center will help modernize the building. Clark is also renovating the main lobby, and installing a new fire alarm system and emergency generators.

Safety

The project has logged over 400,000 man hours—spanning nearly three years—without a lost-time incident. In addition to their outstanding safety record. The team’s diligence and dedication to maintaining a safe work environment has resulted in a productive and injury-free workplace.

The new space is designed to achieve LEED Silver certification under the Commercial Interiors program.
