The Noman M. Cole Jr. Pollution Control Plant (NMCPCP) Rehabilitation of the ASE Pump Station project includes the installation of a 60-million-gallon-per-day temporary bypass pumping system and upgrades to supporting infrastructure, including the replacement of seven slide gates and six vertical turbine pumps (VTPs).
To service the VTPs, the project includes replacement of more than a dozen 36-inch valves and installation of advanced plant water piping and electrical systems. The scope also includes excavation and installation of a county water line outside the pump station’s footprint.
