Clark Water is constructing a 7,800-square-foot sanitary wastewater pump station to support the infrastructure requirements of Virginia Tech’s new Innovation Station campus. The pump station will convey the flow from Innovation Station to the Alexandria Renew Enterprises wastewater treatment plant.

The scope of work includes the construction of mechanical screening facilities, a self-cleaning wet well system, wastewater pumps, piping and valves, a bridge crane, a monorail hoist, and various utilities such as HVAC, electrical, and control systems.

The project team will also construct a public park for the local community. 

The project is designed to meet sustainability standards associated with Verified Envision Awards.
