The project includes the rehabilitation of an existing gold mine in preparation for extracting gold ore. The scope of work includes excavating two new haulage declines to lower levels of the mine. This excavation allows teams access to multiple production levels and creates the main haulage route out of the mine.
Atkinson is also conducting production mining to extract gold-bearing ore in new areas of the mine.
