The GMU Foundation Building combines an office building, retail and a student-parking garage. The mixed-use development provides four levels of underground parking, as well as street-level retail and food service establishments, in a central location to better serve the general university population. An above-grade parking level and five floors of tenant space are occupied by SRA International, Inc.

Located at the Arlington campus of GMU, the six-story GMU Foundation Building is a concrete-framed structure with stone inlaid precast and window wall skin. Building exterior highlights include a detailed window framing system and aluminum storefront entrances, with an interior lobby featuring high-end finishes such as stone flooring, stainless steel railings and mahogany paneling.

Clark’s project team completed the project on a fast-track 20-month schedule. Clark also was responsible for the tenant build-out under a separate, direct contract with the tenant.
