Ellington Airport (EFD) Traffic Control Tower and Utility Building is a 143-foot air traffic control tower (ATCT) at Ellington Field. The ATCT includes radios to improve communication and an automated weather observation station that can determine cloud heights, temperature, rainfall amounts, the presence of lighting in the area, and other weather conditions.
