Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Building 1 at St. Elizabeths

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Building 1 at St. Elizabeths is a 630,000-square-foot federal building on the St. Elizabeths West Campus. The scope includes stabilization and conservation of adjacent historical smokestacks and power plant buildings and slope excavation and stabilization. The project uses low-embodied-carbon construction materials, in alignment with the goals of the Inflation Reduction Act.
