Clark Construction Delivers The Boro, Tysons’ First Walkable Community

After 36 months of construction, Clark Construction has delivered 1.1 million square feet of The Boro, a 16-acre mixed-use development in Northern Virginia. Developed by The Meridian Group and KETTLER, the Clark-delivered portion of The Boro consists of three residential buildings, a five-story office building, and a vibrant mix of retail and entertainment spaces. The Shalom Baranes-designed buildings are a part of Tysons’ first walkable community located steps from the Greensboro Metro Station.

The Boro features three residential buildings ranging in size from 13 to 32 stories. The 32-story Rise has more than 400 apartments, while Bolden offers 133 apartments. Both Rise and Bolden sit atop one of the largest Whole Foods Markets in the country, and feature fitness centers, yoga studios, club rooms with entertainment kitchens, and pools with lounging areas.

The third residential component of The Boro is Verse, a 25-story condominium building which contains 140 luxury units. Similarly to Rise and Bolden, Verse is amenity-rich and features a high-performance fitness studio, pet spa, and entertainment kitchen.

Rise, Bolden, and Verse are all connected on the 9th level by a “SkyPark,” a shared outdoor amenity space that features a theater, bar area, grilling stations, bocce court, fire pits, and lounges that overlook the Blue Ridge Mountains.

As part of this phase of The Boro, Clark also delivered Loft, a five-story office building that features 75,000-square feet of leasable office space atop two-stories of retail.

“This project is transformational for the Tysons’ community,” said Elyse Roeder, a project executive at Clark. “The Boro will be a vibrant hub where people live, work, and play.”
