Clark Civil served as the managing joint venture partner and provided general contracting services for the construction of an addition to the west side of the existing historical Terminal A to accommodate a larger TSA passenger security screening checkpoint. The screening area is equipped with four advanced X-ray machines and two imaging technology stations, doubling the previous capacity of the checkpoint. The building features a metal panel façade and curtain wall system.

The two-story, 12,000 square-foot addition required utility relocation to be coordinated with adjacent airport projects, selective demolition within the existing terminal, and approximately 200 auger cast piles. Inside the terminal, the Clark team furnished and installed joints between the new and existing buildings, MEP systems, a hydraulic elevator, two stairwells, and other interior finishes. The team also restored pavement striping and ground-level pathways at the conclusion of the project.
