Grand Hyatt Nashville Back To Grade

NASHVILLE – Clark Construction and joint venture partner Bell & Associates Construction have completed the underground parking structure and the first level of the Grand Hyatt Nashville to achieve back-to-grade status.

The 784,000-square-foot Grand Hyatt Nashville will stand 24 stories and feature 591 guest rooms, making it among the largest hotels in downtown Nashville. The luxury hotel will include 65,000 square feet of state-of-the-art conference rooms and event space, a fitness center, spa, pool, two ballrooms, a restaurant on the ground level, and a rooftop bar overlooking downtown Nashville.

With this milestone realized, the Clark/Bell project team will turn their focus to constructing the hotel’s podium and building out model units. The hotel’s podium is scheduled to top out in May 2019 and the model units will be completed in March.

The Grand Hyatt Nashville is part of the first parcel of Nashville Yards, a multi-phase, 16-acre mixed-use development project that will feature office, retail, residential and entertainment space. Last year, Clark was awarded the preconstruction contract for the remainder of the Nashville Yards site by Southwest Value Partners, the developers of Nashville Yards.

The Grand Hyatt Nashville is expected to be complete in 2020.
