Clark Construction Group is excited to welcome its largest-ever cohort of summer associates. Nearly 250 young leaders from colleges across the country will participate in Clark’s Summer Associate Program, which provides meaningful, hands-on experiences and networking opportunities that foster long-term career development.

Recognized as a Top 100 Internship Program, Clark’s summer associate experience offers participants 1-to-1 mentorship, virtual and in-person training on construction fundamentals, jobsite tours, social events, and more.

In 2023, the diverse cohort of Clark summer associates hails from 84 universities and 27 states, plus the District of Columbia. The largest number of participants join from schools that include Virginia Tech, University of Maryland, University of Texas at El Paso, and North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University.

“We’re always committed to bringing on board the brightest minds and hardest workers,” says Chris Jordan, vice president of recruiting at Clark Construction. “The strategic growth of the Clark team powers our ability to deliver excellence, and we’ll always hire talented people who share our dedication to building what matters, together.”

The Summer Associate Program plays a key role in Clark recruitment. More than half of the 2023 cohort of summer associates are rising seniors, and many are returning from last summer.  The program overall has been steadily growing: this year, the total number of participants is a 16% increase from 2022 and a 92% increase from five years ago, in 2018.

The 12-week Summer Associate Program runs at Clark offices and jobsites nationwide from the end of May through August. Teams are excited to welcome the newest cohort and look forward to the continued growth of the program.
