In 1996, Clark led the design-build team for the McCormick Place South Hall Expansion, a 2.9 million square-foot convention and exposition center. The project received a number of awards for exceptional design and construction, as well as an award for exceeding the participation goals for minority- and women-owned business.

The McCormick Place South Hall Expansion included a 2.5 million square-foot exhibit hall with state-of-the-art communication, electrical and mechanical distribution systems and a 400,000 square-foot grand concourse galleria connecting to the existing facilities. Clark provided extensive preconstruction services.

In 2007, Clark also completed the McCormick Place Convention Center West Expansion.
