Clark Construction Deepens Commitment to Nashville with Opening of New Office

NASHVILLE, TN – Clark Construction is deepening its roots in Music City. In February, the company opened the doors to its new 4,000-square-foot office in Nashville’s The Gulch neighborhood. Located just a few blocks from the city’s iconic Music City Center, the 2.1 million-square-foot convention center that Clark completed in 2013, the office is a symbol of the company’s commitment to serving the rapidly-growing Nashville market into the future.

Over the last decade, Clark has successfully delivered or currently has underway more than $1 billion of work in Nashville, including projects in the higher education, civil, public assembly, sports, judicial, hospitality, multi-family, water/wastewater, and commercial office markets. The company first stepped onto the Nashville stage in 2008 as part of a construction joint venture team delivering the award-winning Music City Center. Since that time, Clark has expanded its portfolio with projects such as the 235,000-square-foot Engineering and Science Building at Vanderbilt University and the recently completed Nashville Grand Hyatt, a 591-room luxury hotel. The 25-floor, amenity-rich hotel is the first project to come to life in the mixed-use Nashville Yards mega development, and was delivered on schedule in fall 2020, amidst the mounting challenges of the pandemic. The company is also nearing completion on another component of the 18-acre Nashville Yards site – a 24-story core and shell office building and associated parking garage that will support Amazon’s new Operations Center of Excellence.

On the coattails of its recently completed work, Clark broke ground in late January on a new complex for longstanding client Albion Residential. The Chicago-based developer tapped the company to deliver its first project in the Nashville market - Albion in The Gulch, a 20-story, 415-unit resident development. The new apartment building, which is scheduled to be complete at the end of 2022, marks Clark’s fourth partnership with Albion in five years.

“While Clark has been actively working in this community for nearly 13 years, the opening of our Nashville office marks an exciting new chapter for our company, and a significant milestone for our local team,” said Tim Lamson, Clark’s vice president in charge of Nashville operations. “This office not only better positions us to support the evolving needs of our local clients, it provides a permanent home base and place to grow for our employees who live and work in the region. We look forward to building on the strong foundation and relationships we’ve established locally, to growing our local resume of work, and to serving this vibrant, thriving community for decades to come.”
