WMATA Blue Line Rail Power System Upgrades

This project includes the procurement and installation of 34 transformers and 8 auxiliary transformers at traction power sub-stations within the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia. Work includes the replacement of high-voltage alternating current and direct current switchgears, traction power transformers and rectifiers, voltage regulators, bus duct, supervisory and control data acquisition systems, and lighting fixtures.
