TPC Clubhouse at Sawgrass
The TPC Clubhouse at Sawgrass project replaced the out-dated clubhouse building with a larger more luxurious facility with amenities. Clark completed the new TPC Clubhouse in only 11 months, in time for the PGA Tour’s annual PLAYERS Championship.
Clark served as the construction manager/general contractor for the elegant 77,000 square-foot TPC Clubhouse at Sawgrass, as well as the demolition of the exisiting clubhouse. The new facility reflects the Mediterranean Revival-style architecture seen in the buildings of nearby historic St. Augustine. It features banquet and meeting facilities, locker rooms, retail space, golf course management offices, and outdoor entrainment areas.
Clark also constructed the stucco retaining walls, ornamented in precast and cast aluminum railings. They frame the new, 11,000 square-foot lawn that overlooks the 9th and 18th holes of the Stadium Course. Designed by famed golf course architect Pete Dye, the course has hosted THE PLAYERS since 1982.
