Suwannee Correctional Institution consists of five two-story secure housing units, three men’s open bay dormitories, an administration building, front and rear support buildings, a front sally port gatehouse, a rear sally port, three generator buildings, a central control tower, a warehouse building, and a 250,000-gallon water tower.

All building foundations are reinforced concrete slab-on-grade with integral thickened grade beams and mats. The Secure Housing Units have structural steel framing, precast concrete modular cells, and exterior precast concrete wall panels. The Men’s Open Bay Dormitories and Central Control Tower also were constructed with precast concrete wall panels and structural steel framing. In addition to erecting buildings, Clark handled sitework and extended utilities from the prison site to the city of Live Oak, 7.5 miles to the west. Clark also provided excavation, landscaping, and installation of security fencing.
