MAPS 3 Modern Streetcar Mainline

The City of Oklahoma City, Herzog/Stacy and Witbeck have awarded C3M a $13 million contract for the MAPS 3 Modern Streetcar Mainline project. Jacobs Engineering Group is the project engineer.
The MAPS 3 Modern Streetcar Mainline project will form two major loops over 4.6 miles in downtown Oklahoma City. The C3M team is installing overhead catenary systems (OCS) and signaling systems for the project. The team’s scope of work includes the installation six prefabricated traction-power substations and 243 OCS poles to support 18,000 feet of catenary cable, as well as 22 passenger information displays and five switch locations.
Construction is underway and substantial completion is scheduled for fall 2018.
