Clark constructed a 3-story, 86,500 square-foot maintenance facility, which services Maintenance of Way vehicles for Los Angeles Metro’s Red and Purple lines. The building is constructed adjacent to the new iconic 6th street bridge and is designed to complement the nearby Arts District. The building also includes rooftop parking for Metro employees.

In addition to the maintenance building, the project team constructed a parts storage expansion to the existing Division 20 Yard Rail Fleet Services Maintenance Facility, which is a quarter of a mile from the new maintenance building. The 2 facilities are connected by a communication conduit that will be installed adjacent to the active rail line.

The project is designed to achieve LEED® Silver certification and features photovoltaic panel canopies over the roof top parking spaces.
