Urban Atlantic has awarded Clark a contract for the Kaiser Permanente New Carrollton Town Center in Hyattsville, MD. Gensler is the project architect.

Clark will construct a 218,000 square-foot, eight-story office building, which will serve as the new Kaiser Permanente Headquarters. In addition to office space, this structure will include a fitness center, ground-level retail space, Deli, and a loading dock. The exterior façade will consist of precast panels and a combination of punched and strip glazing units. The project team also will construct a 273,000 square-foot, seven-story parking garage. As part of the scope of work, Clark will renovate the neighboring WMATA Bus Access Road at the New Carrollton Metro Station.

The project is designed to achieve LEED® Silver certification.

Construction will begin in September 2017, and completion is scheduled for December 2018.
