Hyatt Regency Nashville
Southwest Value Partners has awarded Clark, in a joint venture with Bell & Associates, the contract for a Hyatt Regency hotel in Nashville, TN. Dimension Development is the owner’s partner and hotel operator, and HKS is the project architect.
The Hyatt is the first parcel of Nashville Yards, a multi-phase, 15-acre mixed-use development project. Clark was previously awarded the preconstruction contract for Parcels 2 and 3.
Clark/Bell will construct a 24-story, 784,000-square-foot hotel with 591 guest rooms and 3 floors of below-grade parking. The hotel will feature a fitness center, spa, pool, and roof top bar, as well as banquet and meeting rooms, two ballrooms, and a restaurant on the ground level. The structure consists of spread footings with cast-in-place pan decks in the podium and post-tension concrete in the tower, with 100-foot structural steel trusses to create an open span in the ballrooms. The hotel façade will showcase an array of window wall, curtain wall, precast, stone, and metal panel.
Construction is underway and substantial completion is scheduled for September 2020.
