Grosvenor-Strathmore Platform and Aerial Structure Rehabilitation brings the station, including the platform and its supporting aerial structure over I-270 and I-495, into a state of good repair.
Work includes demolition of the platform slab edge, tile, and finishes followed by the reinforcement and repouring of the platform's structural slab, waterproofing, and pouring the topping slab.
The project involves replacing four bearings and making additional structural repairs for the aerial structure, installing new digital displays on the platform, and implementing a drainage system to mitigate stormwater.
