Clark is renovating and repositioning an existing office building into an 180,000-square-foot trophy-class office building with nine stories above-grade and three stories below-grade.

The project team demolished and abated the existing building’s façade while maintaining the integrity of precast members that serve as a part of the building’s structure. The building’s new façade will feature Portuguese limestone, granite, metal panels, curtain wall, and a structurally glazed entrance vestibule. The lobby will feature Italian travertine and marble, along with millwork and brushed bronze accents. Clark’s team will also construct a penthouse common space including meeting rooms, a bar area, and a terrace with uninterrupted views of the White House and Washington Monument.

The project’s scope of work also includes site updates to provide outdoor seating spaces and improve sightlines along 16th and Eye Street.

The project is designed to achieve LEED® Gold.
