Mid-Atlantic Projects Among Best of 2006

BETHESDA, Md. – Mid-Atlantic Construction, a McGraw-Hill publication, recently recognized three projects constructed by Clark Construction Group, LLC as part of its Best of 2006 Awards competition.

The awards, presented on November 29 in Baltimore, recognized the year’s best construction projects in the Mid-Atlantic region. Clark projects in Washington, D.C., Maryland and Virginia were recognized.

Mid-Atlantic Construction chose the Children’s National Medical Center - Decontamination Addition, in Washington, D.C., as the Best of 2006 in its small projects category. In Maryland, Johns Hopkins Cancer Research Building II earned the Best of 2006 Award for health care and research facilities. And, in Virginia, the Westin Arlington Gateway earned an Award of Merit in the hospitality category.

A jury of construction, design and development professionals selected the Best of 2006 winners and Merit Award recipients after reviewing dozens of entries from the Mid-Atlantic region.

Over the past 10 years, Clark projects have earned 450 local and national awards from industry associations, publications and other organizations.
