Clark Projects Earn Washington Contractor Awards

Clark and D.C. Sports & Entertainment Commission Launch LSDBE Strategic Partnership Program

BETHESDA, Md. – The Associated General Contractors of Metropolitan Washington, D.C. recently recognized three projects by Clark Construction Group, LLC with Washington Contractor Awards. The awards, presented on October 19 during a ceremony at the Galleria at Lafayette Center in Washington, D.C., recognized the year’s best construction projects built by AGC members in the national capital area. It is the sixth consecutive year in which Clark has earned an award in the competition.

Two Clark projects in Washington, D.C. were honored at the 6th annual awards ceremony. The International Monetary Fund Headquarters 2 was the Washington Contractor’s Award winner in the new construction category for contractors with over $100 million in annual sales. And, Wilmer Cutler Pickering Hale and Dorr LLP earned a Merit Award in the interior category for contractors with over $100 million in annual sales.

In Virginia, the Dulles International Airport East/West Automated People Mover sitework was recognized with the Washington Contractor’s Award in the heavy/industrial category for contractors with over $100 million in annual sales.

Eleven Clark projects have been recognized by the Washington Contractor Awards program since the competition’s inception.

Over the past 10 years, Clark projects have earned 450 local and national awards from industry associations, publications and other organizations.
