Clark Partners with Habitat for Humanity for 'Building Blitz'
El Cajon, CA. – Clark recently partnered with San Diego Habitat for Humanity and other general contractors to build four houses – from the ground up – in just five days. The Habitat for Humanity program, called Home Builders Blitz, works with the building industry to construct affordable housing across the nation. The 2015 event in June resulted in over 200 families being placed in permanent homes.

Clark's subcontractors donated all of the materials to construct a complete home, while employees donated their time to construct the four, 1,300 square-foot homes for underprivileged residents. A comparable home would take the organization six months to construct. The new homeowners also volunteer with Habitat for Humanity and will contribute 33 percent of their income to the mortgage.

Clark has worked alongside Habitat for Humanity for decades, helping to construct homes for families in need across the country.
