Clark Earns Five Awards for Projects in Maryland and D.C.

BETHESDA, Md. – Clark Construction Group, LLC was honored with five awards at the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP) Maryland/D.C. Chapter’s annual Awards of Excellence Gala on May 4. The awards honor superior performance in commercial and institutional real estate.

Clark earned the Best Urban Office (over 150,000 square feet) Award for 1700 K Street, in Washington, D.C.; Best Build-to-Suit Office Award for the International Monetary Fund Headquarters 2, in Washington, D.C.; Best Institutional Facility Award for the Music Center at Strathmore, in North Bethesda, Md.; and the Best Renovations (Best Urban) Award for the American Red Cross National Headquarters, in Washington, D.C.

Clark also was recognized with the Firm of the Year Award for its commitment to quality, community outreach and long-term service to the NAIOP organization.

NAIOP President Thomas J. Bisacquino presented the awards during a ceremony held at the Willard InterContinental Hotel in Washington, D.C. The awards promote the team effort required to complete successful projects, and recognize property owners, managers, brokers, designers and general contractors.

NAIOP is a leading association for developers, owners, investors, asset managers and other professionals associated with industrial and commercial real estate. Its Maryland/D.C. Chapter serves Washington, D.C., as well as the counties of Frederick, Montgomery and Prince George’s in Maryland.
