Clark Begins Pearson Square Condominium for Carr Enterprises in No. Va.

FALLS CHURCH, Va. – Carr Enterprises, LLC recently awarded Clark Multi-Family Builders, Mid-Atlantic a $56 million contract to build Pearson Square Condominium project in Falls Church, Va. This project is one of the first new, large-scale condominiums to be built in the city in recent years.

Pearson Square will be one of the premier condominium developments in Northern Virginia and will become a focal point in Falls Church, Virginia,” said Adam Schulman, principal of Carr Enterprises.

Designed by WDG of Washington, D.C., the project features the construction of a new six story, 230-unit building, 19,250 square feet of ground level retail space, an arts space, and two levels of underground parking. The facade will consist of articulated brick. One, two and three bedroom units with nine-foot ceilings and balconies will be available. Fifteen condominiums will be set aside as affordable housing units.

Pearson Square is located on the former site of a historic duckpin bowling alley on South Maple Avenue and is named in honor of the man who was the original land grant owner of the property.

Tadjer-Cohen-Edelson Associates of Silver Spring, Md. is the structural engineer. Pearson Square is Clark’s third project for Carr Enterprises and will be completed in 2007.

Clark Multi-Family Builders, Mid-Atlantic is a division of Clark Construction Group of Bethesda, Md.
