Clark’s Summer Associate Program Named Among Best in the Nation by WayUp

We are pleased to announce that Clark Construction Group has been named to WayUp’s list of Top 100 Internship Programs in the U.S.

Clark was selected out of 1,000 employers who were nominated to earn a spot on the list. The nominations were reviewed by a judging panel made up of human resources and industry experts based on uniqueness, diversity, rate of hiring after completing the internship, and number of votes the company received from its full-time employees and interns.

“We have a long track record of giving our summer associates and eventual college hires meaningful experience early on in their careers,” said Mark Hamberlin, chief people officer and executive vice president at Clark Construction. “Just like we have a plan for each of our projects, we dedicate the leadership, support, and resources necessary to ensure that our summer associates thrive during their time at Clark.”

Clark Construction’s Summer Associate Program provides students with the opportunity to work with — and learn from — the best and brightest construction professionals in the industry, while helping to build some of the most sophisticated and notable projects in the country.

In addition to gaining valuable real-world experience, summer associates are purposefully exposed to Clark team members from across the organization at company events, social gatherings, job site tours, and community service events. These activities are designed to help summer associates expand their professional network, identify potential mentors, and see for themselves just how special Clark’s people are.

“Everyone at Clark I’ve had the opportunity to work with has been eager to answer my questions, excited to impart their industry knowledge, and truly interested in what I was working on,” said Lauren Crino, a second-year summer associate studying architecture at the University of Virginia. “I know and feel like I am a valuable part of the Clark team!”
