Global Home of the PGA TOUR

PONTE VEDRA BEACH, FL – Clark Construction Group recently announced that it has delivered the 187,000-square-foot facility that will serve as the headquarters for the PGA TOUR in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida.

Located on a freshwater lake at TPC Sawgrass resort, the Global Home of the PGA TOUR will house the organization’s Ponte Vedra-based employees who currently span 17 separate facilities in the area. The new headquarters, which is comprised of two, three-story buildings and a connecting atrium, offers employees an amenity-rich work environment that includes a gym with cycling and yoga studios, cafes, and outdoor spaces. The office building leans heavily on its open-concept design and features coworking spaces and large conference rooms to encourage a communicative environment.

Showcasing sweeping views of the lush Floridian landscape, the state-of-the-art workspace boasts five 1,400 square-foot skylights, each measuring 27 feet wide by 54 feet long and made of durable ethylene tetrafluoroethylene to withstand weather conditions. Illuminated with natural light, the Grand Atrium, which reaches 44 feet tall at its highest point, connects the North and South Buildings and provides a central communal space for colleagues to gather. A 26-foot-tall grand staircase clad in precast terrazzo stair treads leads to the two upper levels of office space, glass-railed balconies and elevated walkways.

A suspended linear canopy ceiling system is supported by 22 35-foot-tall columns and extends continuously from the exterior throughout the interior of the building and the Grand Atrium. Installation of the roof demanded exacting standards and precision to ensure perfect alignment across the building’s entire footprint.

This is Clark’s second project for the PGA TOUR. In 2007, Clark delivered the clubhouse at TPC Sawgrass.
