Beyond the Baseline: New Courts Unveiled at Marvin Gaye Rec Center

On June 28, 2025, Clark joined Monumental Sports & Entertainment (MSE) and the Washington Wizards to unveil the newly refurbished courts at the Marvin Gaye Recreation Center in Washington, DC. Following a ceremonial ribbon cutting, attendees participated in a clinic led by Wizards' youth coaches and the team's newest draft picks.

The work includes improvements to the existing court surfaces, new custom artwork, new striping, hoops, and bleachers, and various grounds improvements to provide a better playing experience for the DC community. This work is part of MSE's broader "District of Play" initiative, which will include renovations to additional outdoor basketball facilities across the District in the coming years.
