7770 Norfolk Reaches its Highest Point

Bethesda, MD – More than a year since Clark broke ground on 7770 Norfolk, the structure has reached its topping out. The 17-story residential and retail building, located in downtown Bethesda, is a joint venture partnership including The JBG Companies, ROSS Development & Investment, and CIM Group.

The new building will feature 244 units, 15 percent of which will be designated affordable, and 6,000 square feet of retail space. Designed by FXFOWLE Architects, the structure's exterior design will emphasize urbanism, technology, and sustainability. Crisp, white metal panels will wrap the building’s façade and will be placed against minimalist glass and textured bronze panels, creating a dramatic statement on the Woodmont Triangle streetscape.

In addition to the rooftop pool and outdoor living area, amenities will include a fitness center and extensive concierge services. Designed to earn LEED Silver certification, 7770 Norfolk also will feature an open roof system, bicycle storage, and electric vehicle charging stations in four levels of underground parking.

The project is scheduled for completion in late 2015.
