Quincy Park Condos Underway in D.C. for Carr Enterprises

— The construction of multi-family residential projects in downtown Washington, D.C. continues with Quincy Park, a modern style condominium complex at 10th & L Streets, northwest. Carr Enterprises selected Clark Residential, a subsidiary of Clark Construction Group, LLC, as general contractor for the $16 million project.

Designed by Esocoff & Associates of Washington, D.C., the nine-story building also incorporates two levels of underground parking. The facade includes multiple brick types that will create a colorful exterior.

Quincy Park will feature 90 condominiums, available in one and two bedroom units. Thirteen different floor plans will be used throughout the building. High-end finishes include a mix of hardwood floors in the kitchens, foyer and living rooms with ceramic tile flooring in the bathrooms, granite countertops, and modern light fixtures. To complete the loft-look, all the ceilings will consist of exposed painted concrete. In addition, most units will have their own private balcony. The 10th Street side of the project also will feature terrace gardens at the ground floor level.

In addition to Clark and the architect, the project team includes A. Morton Thomas & Associates of Rockville, Md., civil engineer; Girard Engineering of McLean, Va., MEP engineer; and Tadjer-Cohen-Edelson Associates of Silver Spring, Md., structural engineer.

Quincy Park will be completed in Fall 2004.
