Clark Foundations has successfully completed more than a hundred of the country’s most sophisticated excavation support systems — from high-rise office buildings in dense urban cityscapes to military campuses that sprawl over acres of terrain. With more than four decades of experience providing preconstruction, estimating, and self-perform construction services for support of excavation and foundations work, we can ensure early cost and schedule control on our projects, and certainty for our clients.

Clark Foundations professionals possess the technical expertise to assist clients during the decision making process by providing economic and technical evaluations of possible alternatives for building foundations, and helping with the selection of a temporary excavation support system attuned to specific-site requirements.

Our foundations experts designed and installed the intricate system used to support excavation work at the massive U.S. Coast Guard Headquarters. The system featured 300,000 square feet of timber lagging and 1,500 soldier beams, as well as 1,500 caissons, up to eight feet wide and 100 feet deep.
