The project team will add one million square feet of improvements to the existing 2.6 million square-foot San Diego Convention Center. The scope of work includes expanding the exhibit hall space by 225,000 square feet, adding 101,500 square feet of meeting rooms, and constructing a new 80,000 square-foot ballroom.

The project is designed to achieve LEED Silver certification and will feature a five-acre green rooftop plaza.
