National Desert Storm and Desert Shield Memorial

The National Desert Storm and Desert Shield Memorial is a monument on a two-acre site that is part of the National Mall. It features extensive landscaping and hardscaping designed to invoke the war’s desert environment and illustrate the left hook maneuver used in Operation Desert Storm.

The hardscaping scope of work includes statues, a central fountain, and two curving granite walls with bas-relief carvings on monumental-grade stone pieces weighing up to 24 tons.
