Level 2 Development, Federal Capital Partners, and CEI Realty have awarded Clark a $64 million contract for The Highline in Northeast Washington, DC. Eric Colbert & Associates is the project architect, and Tadjer Cohen Edelson & Associates is the structural engineer of record.

Clark will construct a 315,000 square-foot, 12-story residential building with 317 apartment units, as well as two levels of below-grade parking. Clark’s team will perform numerous site improvements and construct various amenities, including a rooftop pool and landscaping for an adjacent park. The structure’s modern-industrial architectural design integrates warehouse-style windows with industrial-framed glass cubes weaving in and out of the façade at varying depths. The design also features materials reminiscent of rail cars, as well as steel columns that echo the riveted steel supports of the nearby railroad overpass. 

The project is designed to achieve LEED® Silver certification.

Clark Foundations is part of the project team and will perform support of excavation for the project.

Demolition is already underway and construction is scheduled to be complete in Spring 2019.
