The University of Maryland Medical System has awarded Clark a contract for the Capital Region Medical Center in Largo, MD. Wilmot Sanz is the project architect.

Clark’s project team will construct a new 620,000-square-foot hospital, providing Prince George’s County residents with state-of-the-art trauma, critical, and surgical care, as well as emergency medical services. The center will include imaging services, lab space, diagnostic and treatment services, medicaloncology, and pharmacy spaces. The team will construct a patient care tower with 205 beds and a mix of medical spaces including ICU, NICU, and Behavioral Health spaces.

Clark was selected as the Construction Manager after three years of "parallel preconstruction" services with two other general contractors.

The team will provide foundations and infrastructure for a prefabricated central utility plant.

The project is designed to achieve LEED® Silver certification. Construction is underway and completion is scheduled for October 2020.
