The Lenkin Company has awarded Clark the contract for 1050 17th Street in Washington, DC. Gensler is the project architect.

Clark will construct a Class-A, core-and-shell office building featuring curtain wall, precast, and ribbon windows. The 11-story structure will feature ground floor retail and four stories of below-grade parking. Amenities will include a fitness center and a rooftop terrace for tenant events. In conjunction with Clark Foundations, the project team will first demolish the current building on the corner of 17th and L Street, which was constructed in 1974.

The project is designed to achieve LEED® Gold certification. Demolition will begin in July, and completion is slated for summer 2020.
