Park Tower at Transbay Team Lays a Solid Foundation for New San Francisco Skyscraper
SAN FRANCISCO – Clark’s Park Tower at Transbay project team has completed the foundation for the 43-story office tower. The milestone marks the end of excavation and the start of vertical building.

During the first weekend of December, crews worked around the clock to place over 10,000 cubic yards of concrete to complete the 12-foot-thick mat foundation. Prior to the concrete pour, the team installed four million pounds of rebar to ensure the stability of the 605-foot-tall structure.
When complete, Park Tower at Transbay will offer over 800,000 square feet of Class-A++ office space. The building will feature 14 outdoor sky decks with bay views and over 50,000 square feet of outdoor and open space.

Substantial completion is slated for spring 2018.
