Jobsites Across the Country Stand Down for Safety
BETHESDA, Md.  More than 90 project teams stopped work today to reinforce the importance of remaining focused on planning and building safely throughout the holiday season.

Industry trends indicate an increase in safety incidents around the holidays as individuals shift their attention to spending time with friends and family. To remain vigilant, our executive leadership team addressed crews, encouraging them to be proactive and increase safety awareness on the jobsite. During the events, teams also were reminded of Clark’s comprehensive approach to safety, which requires All Hands, All Heads, All Hearts. This simple formula reinforces accountability, planning, and taking safety personal. The stand down also fortified the importance of Clark’s Stop, Talk, Accept program, which gives anyone on site the authority and responsibility to stop unsafe work. The safety stand down events also were an opportunity to recognize craftsmen and women for their efforts throughout the year and to thank them for working safely.
