Clark Participates in National Safety Week

Bethesda, MD – May 3 through May 9 marks the second U.S. Industry Safety Week. This year, more than 40 national and global construction firms, known as The Construction Industry Safety Initiative (CISI) and the Incident and Injury Free CEO (IFF) Forum have joined forces to raise awareness and inspire everyone in the construction industry to be leaders in safety.

Throughout the week, Clark has planned a number of events to encourage continued safety vigilance and to strengthen our company's safety culture. To kick off Safety Week 2015 employees on every jobsite will participate in a nationwide stand down. On Wednesday, Clark also will join OSHA's second-annual National Fall Prevention Stand Down by conducting an educational event focused on fall prevention. The week-long event will culminate with a number of project teams hosting appreciation events to recognize and thank our employees, and the employees of our subcontracting partners, for their continued commitment to safety.

Clark is honored to join other industry leaders in raising awareness about the importance of safety and thanking our workforce for the commitment they make to being injury free.

Clark's Vice President of Safety, Jesse Rice, stated, "Safety is a core value at Clark and our entire organization is committed to safety above all else. We are proud to join the construction community during Safety Week 2015 to celebrate our commitment to safety."
