Clark Employees Participate in National Rebuilding Day Across the Country
BETHESDA, Md. – A number of Clark project teams recently rallied support for Rebuilding Together's National Rebuilding Day. The annual event, which takes place at the end of April, unites volunteers nationwide to rehabilitate homes and community facilities for low-income, disabled, and elderly residents so that they may continue to live in warmth, safety and independence.
Members from the Highland Hospital Acute Tower Replacement team worked to refresh the Western Service Workers Association facility in Oakland, Calif. The association focuses on helping low-income families with food and legal services, as well as restoring electricity to households that cannot afford their utility bills.
Clark has a long standing relationship with Rebuilding Together and has been participating in the Rebuilding Day event since its inception.
