Carlos Gonzalez Earns a Spot on Healthcare Design's Annual HCD 10 List

BETHESDA, Md. – Healthcare Design magazine recently named Clark Vice President, Carlos Gonzalez Construction/Building Executive of the year in its annual HCD 10 list. The list highlights ten outstanding industry professionals who provided significant contributions to the healthcare industry in 2013.
Mr. Gonzalez joined Clark in 2001 as a Project Manager. Over the last decade, he has helped lead the company's construction operations in the San Diego area.
Mr. Gonzalez recently served as Project Director for the design-build delivery of the Camp Pendleton Replacement Hospital. Construction on the one million-square-foot hospital completed in October 2013. Healthcare Design took notice of the project, and Mr. Gonzalez, when the project came in six months ahead of schedule and $100 million under budget. This feat was due in large part to Clark's commitment to working alongside the designers to ensure constructability, expedited work, and quality control.
Mr. Gonzalez was most recently relocated to Clark's Bethesda headquarters to lead Clark Concrete, a division of Clark that provides self-perform structural concrete services.
