Hiring the best and the brightest

To find such talent, Clark employees go to top colleges and talk to the brightest students. We encourage recent graduates, interns, co-op students, and career changers to come to their school’s career fair and see us; we attend more than 50 each school year.

In addition, we partner with college career centers, department heads, professors, and student-run organizations, and give classroom lectures on campuses throughout the country. Clark representatives also participate in college resume workshops, advisory board meetings, scholarship banquets, and information sessions.

Committed to training

As important to us as finding talent is developing it. Once on board, we do our utmost to train, provide orientation for, and encourage entry-level employees to become integrated into the Clark culture quickly. We developed our JumpSTART and Team Clark Mentoring Program for this purpose.

But training and career development opportunities do not end there. We have developed Clark Corporate University as a way to provide employees with technical, management, and leadership classes that help our employees grow personally and professionally.

After graduation, what I really wanted was diverse construction experience. At Clark, I have helped to build a convention center, a resort hotel, office buildings, a parking garage and an airport terminal. Joining Clark was the right decision!
