A commitment to safety above all else
Nothing is more important than safety
At Clark, safety is a value, not a priority that changes with time. Our zero/zero safety culture: zero tolerance for violations and zero incidents on jobsites, is ingrained in all of our employees, from field workers to senior management. We have high internal standards and expect our clients, project partners, and subcontractors to share this important value.
Safety is everyone’s job
Clark’s Safety Department, comprised of more than 100 dedicated professionals, assists in upholding the company’s safety and health policies and ensures that safe work practices and procedures are consistent across the country. From a 12-story office building in Washington, D.C., to a 12-lane highway in Washington state, our Safety Department work with project managers and field supervisors to plan the safest approach to each project.
We are proud of our corporate culture of safety and the daily discussions of safe work practices on our jobsites across the country. We consider no project successful unless it was built safely.
The ultimate result of any project is that each worker goes home in the same condition in which he or she arrived on site. Clark’s Safety Department works closely with project managers and field supervisors to plan the safest approach to each project and to ensure safety practices and procedures are consistent across the country.
